Although the Palatine Celtic Soccer Club is a park district affiliated club, the Travel program has been successful in competing with other park district clubs, as well as private select clubs at many age levels. Palatine Celtic over the years has served as a base for many players who have gone on to play in the Olympic Development Program and at the collegiate and professional levels.
In the past few years, our Club has begun turning its Travel program over to the hands of capable professional coaches who aim to start keeping more of the top level players who previously have left the Club for more private opportunities. These coaches seek to harness the enormous amount of players in the Palatine community into a concentrated, focused Travel program to serve as a feeder for local high schools, as well as compete in State Cup and regional tournaments.
